In An Emergency, Time Is Of The Essence.

The primary aim of creating ALARRT is to allow people to alert to safety threats they are witnessing or stuck in. Through this, their friends and emergency contacts are notified immediately by SMS, and more. The platform also brings the public informed and up to date when there is a crisis (State and Nation Wide). This ensures that anyone who isn’t aware of the situation stays away from it, especially if it’s life-threatening.

Once a personal distress/emergency alert is created, we alert Emergency Response Services that have registered with us within the area of the emergency so that they can arrive quickly to provide assistance and eliminate or minimize damage.

Our Ultimate Goal

ALARRT's mission goes beyond providing a safety threat reporting & notification system. Our ultimate goal is to be able to respond to emergency notifications as quickly as possible (medical and security-related emergencies). Whether it's a state-wide emergency or a personal one.

OPERATION PLAN

Every Second Counts In An Emergency.

Time is critical in an emergency, and every second counts. We understand this, which is why we’ve created ALARRT for anyone to broadcast these emergency notifications at the speed of light. Beyond that, it is our earnest goal to be able to render help as well.

We are new and are looking to collaborate with current emergency response services (both private and government-run) to ensure that they are notified as soon as possible. Pending the time we have a structured in-house Emergency Response Service (ERS).

Fire Emergency Alert

For fire emergencies. State Fire authorities in association with us are alerted immediately.

Personal Emergency

This is used if you are currently in a personal emergency. Close friends and ERS are Notified immediately

Local Disturbance

This captures large scale disturbances within your vicinity (riots, robbery attacks and more)

Accident Alert

For auto accidents. Medical services in association with us are alerted immediately

Every alert has a category, which we’ve established a few for ease of categorization and help dispatch. If the emergency category you’re alerting isn’t included, we’ve also given the public the ability to create new categories.

Your headline summarizes what is going on. Your alert body is meant to be detailed. It lets us know what is really going on. Add additional tags for more information about your alert e.g. location, state, phone number, and more.

You can add don’t call as a tag if you’re in a personal emergency.

THE STORY BEHIND ALARRT!

I was on my way to work sometime in April 2021.Berger to Ogba was my normal route. Our vehicle unexpectedly came to a halt as we approached the GTB Bank in Aguda. Vehicles were turning around and people were hurrying toward us… Everything was still puzzling till we heard multiple gunshots!!!

My heart nearly jumped out of my body, and I sat trembling in my seat as I battled against panic kicking in … Long story short, I was able to get to work using another route. Some colleagues had heard about this commotion hours ago, so they were safely in their homes. There’s no doubt someone had also tweeted minutes or hours before.

All day, all I could think about was how much I wished I had known sooner. I wish someone had informed me about the situation. Weeks after, the idea to build an emergency alerting platform grew stronger, till I started building.

Fast Forward to what I hear on the news these days about tragic events happening to people and the public finding out long after the deed has been done is disheartening. Alarrt is still in the making, but I believe now is the time it is needed. If it can save a life, it can save much more.

ALARRT for help and notify others at the speed of light.

Alerts are forwarded to Emergency Response Services that have registered with us so that immediate assistance (transportation, medical, and other services) can be provided.

SMS and email notifications are sent out every time an alert is created or re-alerted. Once you create an alert, your close friends are notified, allowing them to re-alert and notify their close friends who can also notify their close friends and more.

Being on Alarrt keeps you informed when there is a local disturbance or state emergency around you. This allows you to avoid unfriendly paths and situations that can be avoided.
